Structural Refurbishment & Extensions, Shaldon
This project involved a structural refurbishment to the main living space before demolition of existing rear access steps to allow for a 2-storey rear extension behind the existing garage.
Phase 1
Involved the demolition of the main spine wall and the insertion of a steel beam to make open-plan living, dining and kitchen areas. This also involved reconfiguring the existing kitchen.
Phase 2
This phase was to take down the rear balcony and steps to allow for a 2-storey rear extension with oak beams, Velux and vaulted ceilings. In addition, the garage was reconfigured to incorporate a gym.
Phase 3
Works here was to build a timber frame utility extension off the front of the property along with the installation of Kitchen/Utility units.
